Small Midwestern towns
They lie on an endless plate of green and brown. Two lane black top ribbons connect them in nearly straight flat lines. In day light their water tanks and graineries tower into the sky. As dusk gathers her strength random points of light shine along the horizon.

The uninvited guest
This vine has been spreading along the fence for a couple of years now. We half heartedly pull up sections of it when it heads into the yard. These fall colors are definitely it's strong suit.
